Kansas City, Missouri’s City of Fountains Foundation joined forces with the city’s parks and recreation department, neighborhood backers, and philanthropic organizations to launch Wish Upon a Fountain, a neighbor.ly crowdfunding campaign. They hope to raise from their local community 10% of the money needed to repair 8 fountains. The remaining 90% will be provided both by the local government and community focused foundations. 

Great to see a large scale crowdfunding project in action in KC!
